After studying at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (Switzerland), she wrote a thesis about the restructuring of the Lausanne Opera House. She then moved to New York seeking an international experience and to open her mind to new ways of thinking, enabling her today to highly flexible having obtained a wide range of experiences.
When she returned to Paris in 2005, she joined the Renzo Piano Agency and collaborated on one of their main projects: the extension of the Art Institute in Chicago. She also became a leading persona in the conception of London’s Shard building, Europe’s highest tower (over 300 meters tall).
In 2008, she leaves the agency to work in Australia. In 2009, she started her collaboration with the Vincent Bastie agency working for prestigious clients such as Marc Jacobs or the hotel La Belle Juliette. This was her first experience working for boutique hotels.
In 2012, Aurore Vachette de Lesquen opened her own agency, specializing in building rehabilitations and constructions for hotels or cultural and artistic buildings.
